What is an eSIM?
An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. Instead of inserting a plastic card, you scan a QR code (or tap an install link) and your phone downloads a data plan for your destination.
When does the 30-day validity start?
When your eSIM first connects to a network at your destination, not when you buy it. You can install it days before your trip without losing any time.
Will I keep my phone number and WhatsApp?
Yes. OneSim eSIMs are data-only, so your regular SIM stays in your phone for calls and texts (your carrier's rates apply if you use them abroad). WhatsApp keeps working on your usual number over the eSIM's data.
Can I use my eSIM as a hotspot?
Often, yes, but it depends on your device and the local network, so we can't promise it everywhere. If tethering is essential for your trip, contact us before you buy and we'll check your destination.
What happens if I run out of data?
Top up. You can add more data to the same eSIM from My eSIMs, with no new QR code and no reinstall.
Which phones support eSIM?
Most recent iPhone, Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy models, plus many others. Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked. Dial *#06#: if you see an EID number, you're good to go.
How fast will I get my eSIM?
Instantly. Your QR code and install details appear on the order page right after payment and are emailed to you at the same time.
Can I use one eSIM in several countries?
Yes, with the Global plan: one eSIM that works in 180+ countries. Local plans work in the country you bought them for.
Is there a contract or subscription?
No. Every plan is a one-time purchase that never renews automatically. Top up only if you need more data.
Can I get a refund?
